How we guarantee food safety

We pride ourselves in the quality of what we serve, and the quality of your experience. It is essential to us that every item that comes into our kitchen is up to the highest possible standards, and everything we prepare and serve exceeds your expectations.

Kyle Leong has completed two courses on food safety practices:

  • Use Hygienic Practices for Food Safety
  • Participate in Safe Food Handling Practices

In short, the two certificates attest that our patissiers at Patisserie Avenue have the skills and knowledge required to use personal hygiene practices in order to:

  • prevent contamination of food that might cause food-borne illnesses; and to
  • handle food safely during the storage, preparation, display, service and disposal of food.

All local businesses that serve food to the public are regulated by the City of Parramatta and the NSW Food Authority. Per the applicable NSW Food Authority guidelines, Patisserie Avenue has notified the Parramatta Council of its food business operation and is subject to spot checks.

In addition, Patisserie Avenue is a business insured by Public Liability insurance to a sum of $5,000,000.

How we guarantee quality

Kyle is a qualified patissier with his Certificate III in Patisserie certification from Holmes Institute, one of the most prestigious culinary schools in Australia.

The course provides Kyle with the practical cookery skills and sound knowledge of kitchen operations to produce patisserie products safe to consume.
